Bachata dance classes in Bangalore
Bachata Saturdays runs weekly Bachata classes in Koramangala, Bengaluru — at Atmos Studio, opposite Nexus Mall. Absolute beginners through to performance level, on a Saturday afternoon.
You do not need a partner, a dance background, or a sense of rhythm you are confident about. Partners rotate through the class, so arriving on your own is the ordinary way to arrive.
Who these classes are for
People who have never danced
The beginner level starts from the first timing count. Nothing is assumed, and the prerequisite for it is listed below as what it is: none.
People coming without a partner
No partner is required. We rotate partners frequently through the class, which is the fastest way to learn. If you do bring someone and would rather dance only with them, tell us on the day.
People who have danced before
Each level lists the experience it assumes, so you can place yourself before you book. The higher levels are where connection, musicality and styling get their own attention.
People who want to try one Saturday first
A single class is bookable on its own. If you go on to join the full course in the same cycle, what you paid for the trial comes off the price.

What happens in your first class

Stepping into a dance studio for the first time can feel incredibly nerve-wracking, especially if you are convinced you have "two left feet." But here is a secret: almost everyone else in the room feels exactly the same way. We designed our beginner batches specifically to remove that intimidation.
Here is exactly what you can expect when you walk onto the floor with us:

The Warm-Up (Solo)
We never throw you straight into partnerwork. We always start solo. We put on a great track and lead the room through a simple, low-pressure body warm-up. This time is just about shaking off the week, loosening up your shoulders, and getting into that Saturday weekend vibe.
Finding the Rhythm & Footwork
Next, we break down the famous Bachata basic. Staying in our solo lines facing the mirror, Sarishtha and Bristi will introduce the 1-2-3-tap timing. We don’t just show you where to put your feet; we teach you exactly how to hear those counts in the music. We drill this together as a group until that side-to-side rhythm starts feeling like second nature.
Partnering Up & The Rotation
Once the room has a feel for the basic step, we circle up and find our first partners. We will show you how to establish a comfortable, respectful dance frame.
This is also where the rotations begin. Every few minutes, we call "Rotate!" and you simply move to the next person in the circle. This is the core of how we teach—it means you never need to bring a partner, you instantly meet everyone in the room, and you learn exponentially faster by feeling how different people move and connect.
The Final Flow
We wrap up every single class by putting the day’s lesson into practice. We put on a beautiful Bachata track and let you just dance through what you learned in a continuous flow. No pressure, no tests—just enjoying the music and celebrating the fact that you are actually dancing. We stick around after the music stops if you have questions, want to practice a specific move, or just want to chat with your new classmates!

Wall of Love
In their own words, unedited.
Returning after a long break, I worried about catching up, but the structured practices quickly got my body flowing again. The environment is patient, structured, and highly supportive. My ultimate breakthrough has been in lady styling: Sarishtha’s rock-solid foundation combined with Bristi’s styling and polishing tips finally helped me conquer my struggles with footwork and hand placements!

From worrying about judgment to bringing my own flavor to the dance floor!
I used to be nervous about partner dancing and dancing with strangers, but Bachata Saturdays is such a welcoming, non-judgmental space that my comfort zone quickly expanded. The teaching is incredibly patient and structured, focusing heavily on strong fundamentals. I love that they teach different variations and styling options, while constantly encouraging us to express our own unique personality through the dance.
Suman · Intermediate
After a huge break from Bachata, I had lost my confidence and didn't know where to restart. I always admired Sarishtha's dancing, so I reached out. She personally assessed my level on day one and fast-tracked me to the right batch. A year later, I'm happily learning in the Intermediate class!
What I truly love is how she breaks everything down—body isolations, footwork, and movements—in such a simple way that anyone can learn comfortably. The vibe is equally amazing: supportive, fun, and completely non-judgmental. I feel so fortunate to be growing on this journey here.
Soumya · Intermediate
A super chill vibe where no one gets left behind!
After a break from dancing, I took a trial class and immediately knew I found the right spot. The environment is incredibly welcoming. Sarishtha and Bristi are so passionate about teaching—they make sure everyone gets individual attention and every doubt is resolved. It feels incredible when you suddenly piece all the combos together and realize just how much you’ve progressed!
Vaibhav · Intermediate
From boring routines to executing full performance choreographies!
I transitioned from Salsa looking for something more fun and engaging. Sarishtha is an incredibly accomplished dancer with an amazing aesthetic sensibility. The atmosphere in class is kind, structured, and wholesome. My absolute favorite moment was when it all clicked and I was able to confidently execute a full performance choreography alongside everyone else. It felt like an incredible accomplishment!
Mahender · Intermediate
As an experienced dancer, I wanted to truly fix my techniques and blend into the community. The vibe here is incredibly welcoming, and the instructors—Sarishtha and Bristi—give dedicated, equal attention to everyone. Getting real-time technique feedback from both of them is a total game-changer.
I’m a shy person, but the structured learning curve helped me overcome my inhibitions and lead with genuine confidence. I even used to think repeating sequences was a bit slow, until I realized how perfectly it built muscle memory—I confidently pulled off the entire flow smoothly at the socials yesterday!
Arjun · Improver
A completely supportive, judgment-free space to grow!
I was afraid of feeling self-conscious about my dancing weaknesses, but Sarishtha makes learning entirely comfortable and non-judgmental. Alongside Bristi, they give incredible personalized attention to anyone who is struggling. For two hours, you just immerse yourself in great technique and leave feeling completely energized. Bonding with the crew and filming our progress videos has been the perfect way to see how much we’ve grown over the past year!
Grishma · Intermediate
Before joining, I was worried I wouldn't be able to keep up with more experienced dancers. But the team instantly made me feel comfortable. What makes the biggest difference is how quickly the instructors identify exactly where you are struggling and give personalized guidance to fix it.
My biggest breakthrough was learning how to move comfortably in a closed position during Sensual Bachata. I used to struggle with lower-body coordination, but the focus on technique, connection, and body positioning made everything feel natural and fluid. For anyone thinking of joining—especially beginners—the supportive, non-intimidating environment makes it so easy to learn and enjoy the journey.

Frequently asked questions
How many weeks is the progressive course?
Our Bachata progressive course runs for 6 weeks. Each week builds sequentially on top of the last, taking you comfortably from foundational timing to confident social dancing.
What is the duration of each class?
Classes start strictly on time and proceed for 90 minutes of intensive, high-energy, fun learning.
What time should I arrive at Atmos Studio?
Please aim to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early. This gives you time to complete check-in on the roster and settle down so we can kick off right on time!
What happens if I have to miss a class?
Don't stress—life happens! It is completely normal to miss a session. Our team and instructors will ensure you safely catch up on the essential steps and styling movements during the next session.
Can I attend a single session or try a class first?
Yes! Trials and drop-ins are allowed at ₹700 per session. It’s a great way to experience the energy and vibe before committing to the full progressive course.
What footwear and clothing are recommended?
Please wear comfortable, breathable clothing that you can move easily in. For footwear, please bring a clean pair of socks or dedicated dance shoes. Outdoor shoes are strictly not allowed on the studio dance floor to keep it clean and safe for spins.
Is parking available at Atmos Studio?
Two-Wheelers: Bike parking is available directly on-site at the venue.
Four-Wheelers: Dedicated car parking is not available on-site. If you are driving, you can conveniently and safely park your car at the nearby Nexus Mall.
Do I need to bring a partner? What if I have zero experience?
No partner is required at all! We rotate partners frequently throughout the class, which is the best way to learn and build connection. However, if you bring a partner and prefer to dance exclusively with them, just let our team know.
If you have zero experience, you are in the right spot! This course is designed with absolute beginners in mind—we break down everything from the very first timing count.
We want the couple price — do we have to book together?
Yes — one booking, both names. The couple price covers two people, and we need both sets of details in the same registration so we know who’s in the room. If you book separately you’ll each pay the individual price, and we can’t retroactively merge two bookings into a couple.
Can I pay in instalments or hold a spot and pay later?
No — the full amount is payable upfront when you register. We don’t take part payments or instalments, and we can’t hold a spot against a payment to be made later. Your place is confirmed once the full payment has been received.
I did the trial — can I join the full course?
Yes, and your ₹700 comes straight off the price. Book the full course with the same WhatsApp number and we’ll apply the credit automatically — you’ll see it on the checkout screen before you pay. It works within the same cycle you trialled, and across levels, so if you tried L1 and we move you to L2, the credit comes with you.
Which Bachata style do you teach?
We focus primarily on Modern and Sensual Bachata. In our beginner batches, we build a strong foundation using traditional timing, basic steps, and essential partnerwork techniques. As you progress into our higher levels (like L2 Improver), we introduce the body isolations, fluid movements, and deeper connection techniques that define Sensual Bachata.
Can I join after the course has started?
Because our courses follow a progressive 6-week curriculum where each class builds on the last, we only allow new students to join during week 1 or week 2 of a new batch. If you miss the enrollment window for the current cycle, you can grab a spot on the waitlist for the next batch or join one of our standalone weekend workshops.
How much do Bachata classes cost in Bangalore?
The cost of Bachata classes in Bangalore typically depends on the format and the studio. At Bachata Saturdays, we offer flexible options to match your goals: from single-day trial classes and standalone workshops, to comprehensive full-course passes and discounted couple passes. You can always view our exact, up-to-date pricing by clicking any of the available passes above.
